Brad Treliving out as Flames GM
Maple Leafs, former Flames GM have 'mutual' parting of ways
Treliving's net worth estimated at $1 million to $5 million
Brad Treliving is out as general manager of the Calgary Flames, the team announced Tuesday.
Treliving and the Flames have "mutually agreed" to part ways, the team said in a statement. Treliving had been with the Flames since 2014.
The Flames missed the playoffs this season, finishing with a 26-46-10 record. It was the team's worst finish since 2012-13.
Treliving's departure comes as the Flames are set to begin a rebuild. The team has a number of young players, including Matthew Tkachuk, Elias Lindholm, and Andrew Mangiapane.
It is unclear what Treliving's next move will be. He has been linked to the Toronto Maple Leafs, who are also in need of a general manager.
Treliving's net worth is estimated to be between $1 million and $5 million.
